After watching this video,  our grade 3 and 4 students were thrilled to try a cardboard challenge in class. Many came in with boxes and cartons on Friday and we have actually started to construct our games in class. We now have plenty so please do not send any more cardboard to school.

Although the Global Cardboard Challenge (which invites kids around the world to design and build awesome creations using cardboard, recycled materials and imagination) culminates in a global Day of Play on October 5th, 2013,  we have chosen to build right now. We will continue to work on our games everyday in class before Open House. Hopefully, they will be ready for parents and guardians to “test out”  by Thursday night and celebrate the creativity and imagination of the students in our classroom.
